Cream City South Community Development Corporation

Cream City South Community Development Corporation, is a non-profit organization with a mission of working in collaboration with the residents and businesses of the South Side of Milwaukee to build a strong, healthy, and safe community. Specifically, Cream City South Community Development Corporation (CCSCDC) serves the neighborhood bordered by Greenfield and Oklahoma Avenues, between South 5th and South 27th Streets.

Cream City South Community Development Corporation is focusing on three areas to help people in the community; housing, business and community building.

Housing: by promoting home ownership, financial coaching for first time and current homeowners, and home improvement assistance for homeowners.

Business: financial assistance for small and medium sized businesses, grants for renovation along with activation of new and existing businesses, plus marketing help for businesses.

Community Building: working with local partners to increase the number of community focused activities in the area, such as: farmer’s markets, cultural festivals, supporting small businesses, yoga in the park, walking tours, and community clean-ups.
